Reduction of Classes
Weaving classes are happening in October. We have had a limited enrollment so will only be hosting the following class:

You may choose either project
Wed Oct 4, 6:30pm:
dresser/table runner $60 + purchase of (1)ball Colour Flow & (1)ball Celeste
Or
scarf class $70 + purchase of 2 balls of Autumn Chunky
Come into the shop or call to register and select yarns. (Class price will be cash only).
Supplies are to be purchased from Wool & Silk.

The Seasons are a Changing
Fall is upon us and the knitting has commenced. At the first hint of colder weather our fingers start to itch and we can't wait to get a project on the needles! We are ready for you here at Wool & Silk. So many new yarns into the shop. Pattern ideas. And bags. Oh the bags!

Weaving classes are happening in October. Leo Schmidt, will be with us again from Nova Scotia. There are 3 separate projects and a wall hanging for intermediate weavers. Looms will also be offered for sale ($325 + HST).

Asti Spumanti Tee by Thea Coleman
This talented designer has brought us a pattern that is a beautiful combination of cables and colour. Perfect for worsted weights. Just enough sweater to wear now and with a long sleeve top underneath for the whole winter. We are working up a sample in BFL aran naturals with Cascade 220 superwash supplying the colour interest. The base yarn could also be Estelle Worsted, Vintage Worsted, Eco Harmony Worsted, Highland Alpaca Worsted.
Allegria Grande mini skeins would work well for the colour sections too.
