I think this sheep expresses how we all feel about the current restrictions and life changes we are experiencing. And while we will continue to social distance, isolate & wear masks, we would just like to say “Pffffftttt” to it all !

COVID-19 Memorial Blanket
Three lovely ladies from Lindsay have started a very impressive memorial project. To remember those family members and loved ones that have been lost due to this virus. 1 block for each individual. Squares are being knitted and sent in to be added to the blanket.

MidKnit Cravings Sweet Sock Yarn
Here is a look at all of the new MidKnit Cravings Sweet Sock yarn that has come into the store this past week. Squeal!! Lots of new ones and some old favourites. Don’t wait they are flying out the door fast.
The Sharon Show - Mystery KAL shawl (start date August 6th)
If you are looking for a fun project then this is the one for you. I say fun because the designer is her cat, Sharon from Security. There will be humour, cute pics and great knitting. If you don’t enjoy cat fun or jokes in your knitting time then this is not the one for you. If you do then you are in for a treat. Giggle along!
Cassapinka has created a mystery KAL. Uses a combination of four great colours. We have set up a few ideas for you on our page. Prices vary due to yarns chosen.

FRESH BERRIES TEE - KAL-AD (Knit-a-Long at a Distance)
We thought we would try to do a Knit-a-Long at a distance. Sign-up happens at time of yarn purchase (in-store or online). Pattern is supplied.
Each week we check in with you, ask for updates & photos. Then we share them on our social media so that everyone can see how the knitters are progressing.
Fresh Berries Tee is a great top-down knit. Nothing hard here. The yarn does all of the work for you. And what nice yarn it is. So soft and cozy. Easy to wear and lots of colour choices. New stock coming next week.

Store Hours
Hours will be: Tues - Sat: 10am-3pm every day (no evenings)
New Store Protocols: 1) for the safety of all of our customers: do not visit the store if, you have a cough, fever, have been exposed to a COVID-19 patient, or have a person in your household who may have been exposed. Staff may ask you at the door.
2) The wearing of a mask is now mandatory. Our staff will be wearing masks while interacting with customers. Please come in supplied with your own mask.
3) there will be a limit of 3 customers in the store at any time. Please check before entering
4) social distancing (keeping 6ft from others) will be maintained in the store
5) upon entry you will be given hand sanitizer
6) please limit yarn handling to items that you are intending to purchase
7) payment will be limited to: Tap (Interac, Visa, M/C) Cash is not being accepted at this time
Please adhere to the above rules & regs as we do not wish to be fined (It’s $5000 !!) or shut down. Thank you so much for your consideration
